Oof the main objective of school education is to make a child fearless – Children are plagued with various fear such as fear of failure, stage, exams, mathematics, science etc. The school should provide ample opportunities to children to know their fears and more importantly equip them with adaptive tools to overcome them. We often teach children how to make butterflies. They are colorful and always a visual treat. A fancy dress competition is more likely to have a child dressed as a butterfly. Nobody ever talks about MOTHS. Somehow these pesky, hairy, dull winged creatures are ignored.
